On 10–11 September in Tianjin, the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines held two key events as part of China Mining 2026: the official opening of the first-ever joint Kazakhstan Mining booth and Kazakhstan Day.

The Kazakhstan Mining booth was organised by the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines with the support of the Ministry of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, RG Gold and Zijin Mining. The joint platform brought together Kazakhstan’s mining and exploration companies, industry organisations and promising projects.

Day One: Kazakhstan Mining Opens Its Doors

The official opening of the booth took place on 10 September. The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nagaspayev, Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Ruslan Baimishev, President of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines; and Liu Guohong, Minister of Natural Resources of the People’s Republic of China. Later that day, the booth was visited by He Lifeng, Vice Premier of the State Council of the People’s Republic of China.

The booth immediately became one of the focal points of the exhibition, attracting representatives of Chinese and international businesses, investors and industry professionals. The focus was on Kazakhstan’s projects, new opportunities for cooperation and direct engagement with companies.

Day Two: Kazakhstan Day — Investment Opportunities and Projects

On 11 September, the Chamber hosted Kazakhstan Day “Kazakhstan Mining: From Resources to Value Creation”.

The opening session featured Minister Mr. Nagaspayev and President of the Chamber Mr. Baimishev. Li Kaiwen, CEO of RG Gold, shared the experience of Chinese business operating in Kazakhstan. Said Sultanov, Founder of AMG Ltd., and Timur Odilov, Partner at Haller Lomax, also addressed the audience.

A dedicated session focused on specific investment opportunities and featured the Globmine, Teniz and Kemir projects, highlighting Kazakhstan’s potential in gold and copper exploration and development.

Two days, one clear message: Kazakhstan is not only a resource-rich country, but also a place with concrete projects, companies and partners ready to do business today.

For the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines, participation in China Mining is first and foremost about connecting Kazakhstan’s projects directly with international capital, technologies and partners.

Kazakhstan Mining is open. Welcome to Kazakhstan!
