China Conference: Central Asia 2026

On 7 September 2026, Astana will host China Conference: Central Asia 2026, an international conference organised by the South China Morning Post (SCMP) in partnership with the Astana International Financial Centre (AIFC).

On 7 September, the President of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines will speak at the session “The New Minerals Race – How is Central Asia Building a Modern, Investable Mining Industry?”.

China Conference: Central Asia 2026 reflects Central Asia’s growing role in economic relations with China and in global investment flows. The conference will provide a platform for direct dialogue between policymakers, investors and businesses, as well as for building new cross-border partnerships.
