GoldCorp LLP is a participant in the State Program for Accelerated Industrial and Innovative Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
GoldCorp LLP's project to produce copper cathode using heap leaching from oxidized copper ores at the Severny Samombet deposit, located in the Karkaraly district, was included in the "Karaganda Region Entrepreneurship Support Map" by Resolution No. 77/03 of the Akimat of the Karaganda Region dated November 30, 2020.
The project is scheduled for four years, from 2022 to 2026, with the project reaching its design capacity of 2,500 tons of copper cathode per year by 2026.
