We are very pleased to announce that Asem Zhusupova has joined our team at the Kazakhstan Mining Association and will take the position of lawyer.
Assem Zhusupova

Lawyer, Kazakhstan Mining Chamber. In 2001, graduated from the Adilet Higher School of Law with a degree in Jurisprudence, specializing in law.

Have over 21 years of professional experience, including 15 years in public service and 10 years in leadership positions across organizations of various ownership structures. From 2007 to 2017, held positions ranging from Senior Specialist to Deputy Director of the Subsoil Use Department at the Ministry. I represented the interests of the Competent Authority in court, participating in 42 legal proceedings, 40 of which resulted in favorable outcomes for Ministry. Also contributed to the development of the Republic of Kazakhstan’s 2010 Subsoil and Subsoil Use Law. Additionally, was the initiator and organizer of the project-based approach in the legislative process.

As a result of implementing project management, the following legislative projects were successfully completed on time: 1) The 2017 Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Subsoil and Subsoil Use»; 2) The 2018 Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts Regarding Venture Financing» (an expedited legislative project completed within 5 month).
