On February 24, 2025, in Astana, the regular meeting of the members of the Kazakhstan Chamber of Mines " (hereinafter - Chamber) with the Minister of Industry and Construction of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kanat Sharlapayev, took place.
The Chamber unites 45 companies, including both domestic and foreign investors. It is important to note that both large and junior international companies came to Kazakhstan after the reform in the subsoil use sector and have made a significant contribution to the exploration of the country's geological resources.
The Minister emphasized the key role of private investments and the introduction of advanced technologies in geological exploration.
During the open dialogue, Kanat Sharlapayev and the Chamber members discussed the further development of international reporting standards, taxation, as well as issues affecting the investment climate.
The Minister stressed the need to continue reforms in the subsoil use sector and foster more active cooperation with the Chamber for the further development of Kazakhstan's geological industry.
